Rooted in purpose. Built through community.
In real estate, “good bones” means a foundation worth building on. We believe strong communities have good bones, too: people who care, places worth protecting, and opportunities to learn and thrive.
Good Bones is the community initiative behind Kennedy Myers Real Estate. It reflects a simple belief: we each have something to contribute, and our efforts go further when we bring people together. Through volunteering, education, and support for local organizations, our aim is to make it easier to turn good intentions into meaningful action.
Our focus is personal:
Dog Rescue & Fostering
Helping good dogs get a second chance while supporting the people and rescue organizations working to find them safe, lasting homes.
Trail Conservancy & Stewardship
Protecting and caring for the trails and open spaces that connect us to nature and one another - preserving access, encouraging responsible recreation, and supporting their long-term care.
Cancer Awareness & Connection
Rooted in Bill’s experience as a cancer survivor, this commitment centers on encouraging conversations about screening and early detection, sharing trusted resources, and supporting people and families affected by cancer.
Youth Financial Literacy
Supporting opportunities for children and teens to learn essential money skills early - from saving and budgeting to understanding credit and making thoughtful spending decisions. Our belief is simple: every young person deserves a foundation that helps them approach adulthood with greater financial knowledge, confidence, and independence.
Good Bones brings our personal commitments together under one initiative. It reflects how we want to contribute: helping good dogs find homes, caring for trails and open spaces, supporting cancer awareness, and championing financial literacy for the next generation. As it grows, we’ll share the stories, organizations, and efforts that bring those commitments to life.
Good knows good.
